The Saskatchewan Urban Native Teacher Education Program (SUNTEP) – Gabriel Dumont Institute of Native Studies and Applied Research invites applications for the following position:
Sessional Instructor – KIN 146:
Physical Activity and School Aged Children and Youth. The SUNTEP Prince Albert program requires a Sessional Instructor for KIN 146. This course will offer prospective and current College of Education students opportunities to increase their understanding of the role physical activity plays in the health and wellbeing of school aged children and youth.

• Develop and deliver course content that aligns with the course objectives.
• Engage students in interactive and practical learning experiences.
• Monitor and assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Facilitate discussions and activities that encourage active learning.
• Support students in their learning.

• Relevant graduate degree and approval by the University of Saskatchewan.
• Understanding of Gabriel Dumont Institute values and previous teaching experience at the post‑secondary level is an asset.
• Good understanding of physical education and Saskatchewan school curricular outcomes.

Remuneration: U of S Sessional Lecturer wage grid

Location: Prince Albert, SK

Term: June 8, 2026 to June 25, 2026

The class is scheduled to be delivered in person at the Prince Albert Gabriel Dumont Campus building from June 8 – 25 Monday – Thursday from 1 pm – 4 pm.

Schedule: Monday–Thursday 1:00pm – 4:00pm
