Mental Health & Wellness Education Instructor

Elevate mental health and wellness education at the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as an Instructor in the Addictions, Community, & Mental Health Professional program. This role is focused on creating an enriching learning environment.

As an Instructor, from August 2026 to June 2027, you will be responsible for guiding students through a curriculum aimed at ensuring their success. Duties include lesson planning, leveraging technology for instruction, and implementing effective evaluation methods. Your goal will be to nurture a positive and inclusive educational space.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive lesson plans for classes

• Integrate current technologies into teaching practices

• Keep accurate attendance and evaluation records

• Monitor and assess student performance regularly

• Ensure a welcoming and diverse learning environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field required

• Genuine commitment to students’ learning and success

• Previous teaching experience preferred

• Ability to incorporate Indigenous pedagogy

• Familiarity with adult education theories advantageous
