Indigenous Women in Trades & Technology Lead

Champion Indigenous women's involvement in trades as the WITT Coordinator. Successfully implement programs and foster relationships within the community and education sectors.

This position works closely with the WITT facilitator on program coordination and required instruction. You will engage with students, instructors, and community partners while delivering presentations and managing communication strategies through social media and media relations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with the WITT facilitator

• Instruct programs as required for participants

• Create presentations for diverse stakeholder groups

• Manage campus WITT communications through media relations

Requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

• Completion of a journeyperson certificate or degree

• Two years of recent, relevant work experience

• Familiarity with WITT’s operational philosophy
