Instructor, Office Administration - Essential Skills in the Workplace
We are seeking an experienced instructor to establish and lead a new Office Procedures Essential Skills for the Workplace (ESWP) program at Prince Albert Campus. The ESWP program is a tuition‑free, 16‑week, in‑person program that incorporates a two‑week job placement, delivering job‑readiness skills to unemployed or under‑employed individuals.
Job DutiesThe successful applicant will be tasked with:
- Establishing the new ESWP program curriculum.
- Adapting existing curricula to fit the new program.
- Locating and coordinating work placements.
- Evaluating job prospects and maintaining an interest list.
- Advertising the program and recruiting participants.
- Assessing program interest and, if sufficient, extending the program into the winter term.
- B.Ed. with a major in Business Education; OR
B.Ed. plus an Office Education certificate; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Two years (within the last five years) of recent, relevant and successful instructional or business experience.
- Demonstrated ability to use all components of a computer application suite and to integrate applications.
- Demonstrated ability to properly format business documents.
- Effective communication skills (written and oral).
- Effective instructional ability.
- Effective interpersonal skills.
- Classification:
Instructor - Hours of Work: 7.25 hours per day, to be assigned.
- Salary Range:
As per Academic Salary Table. - Start Date:
24 August 2026 - End Date: 23 December 2026
