Position: Academic Leader for Practical Nursing
Enhance student success as the Program Head for the Practical Nursing program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic located in Prince Albert. This position links students, faculty, and administration through dynamic leadership and support.

In this key role, you will directly report to the academic chair, working collaboratively to ensure quality education and effective delivery methods. Responsibilities include coordinating curriculum development, overseeing student services, and managing recruitment and retention efforts. You will also focus on mentoring teaching staff and strengthening ties with industry and other educational institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead program initiatives alongside faculty and staff

• Oversee curriculum design and course renewals

• Initiate student recruitment and retention strategies

• Collaborate with external agencies and other institutions

• Provide academic advising and manage student concerns

Requirements:

• Proven experience in educational program leadership

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Understanding of nursing or health education

• Capable of mentoring faculty and supporting educators

• Experience in financial resource management
