Part-Time Library Technician

Sask Rivers School Division #119 is hiring a part-time Library Technician to support P.A.C.I. in Prince Albert starting August 28, 2026. Ideal candidates will have a Library Technician diploma and library software skills.

This permanent part-time position offers 16.25 hours weekly with daily shifts of 3.25 hours. Applicants need successful completion of Grade 12 and expertise in automated library systems to succeed. Knowledge of Insignia Software and MARC coding is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily library operations at P.A.C.I.

• Maintain and troubleshoot automated library systems

• Code materials according to MARC standards

• Support library patrons with inquiries and resource access

• Collaborate with staff to enhance library services

Requirements:

• Grade 12 with Library Technician diploma or certificate

• Familiarity with Insignia Software preferred

• Valid driver's license required

• Knowledge of automated library systems

• Ability to code to MARC standards
