Position: Electrician Instructor at Saskatchewan Polytechnic
Shape the future of electricians with Saskatchewan Polytechnic as an Instructor. Provide engaging training for apprentices in a program blending online and face-to-face learning environments.

As an Electrician Instructor, you will deliver Level 1 to 4 Apprenticeship Training alongside Applied Certificate Electrical Training.

Your role encompasses developing and maintaining course material, adapting instruction to diverse learner needs, and utilizing digital tools like Office 365 and Zoom. Creating a student-centered atmosphere while fostering strong relationships with external partners defines success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive instruction to Electrician students

• Design a flexible, outcome-based learning environment

• Prepare lessons and evaluations using adult learning principles

• Develop new curriculum and training materials

• Mentor students on industry expectations and career goals

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Journeyperson Certificate in Construction Electrician

• Two years of relevant post-journeyperson experience

• Effective instructional and interpersonal skills

• Proficient in MS Office Suite and general digital tools

• Commitment to ongoing professional development
