Communications Instructor

Position: Communications Instructor at Gabriel Dumont Institute
Engage adult learners as a Sessional Communications Instructor with the Gabriel Dumont Institute in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Contribute to courses on Helping Skills and Interpersonal Communications during the fall semester.

This position offers a unique opportunity to plan, deliver, and assess essential communications skills courses for adult students from September 2025 to January 2026. You will collaborate with the lead instructor on scheduling and grading while providing student support. Your expertise in communication will be pivotal in fostering effective learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver Communications 197 and 291 courses

• Assess student progress and collaborate on scheduling

• Provide ongoing student support and feedback

• Prepare instructional materials and course outlines

• Manage 45 hours of instruction and 15 hours of marking

Requirements:

• Master of Communication degree or equivalent preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or English acceptable

• Strong background in adult education methodologies

• Ability to engage and motivate adult learners

• Experience in curriculum development and assessment
