The Department of Chemistry is looking for a qualified Sessional Lecturer for the Regular Session. This role involves teaching two courses:
General Chemistry I and Introduction to Organic Chemistry. A PhD in Chemistry is essential, although an MSc may be accepted under specific conditions. You will deliver engaging lectures every Tuesday afternoon and manage classes of up to 40 students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach General Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry courses
• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures each term
• Evaluate and grade student assignments and exams
• Manage classroom dynamics for up to 40 students
• Conduct office hours for student consultations
Requirements:
• PhD in Chemistry or MSc in special cases
• Relevant teaching experience required
• Valid driver's license for off-campus courses
• Commitment to student learning and support
• Flexibility to handle course cancellations
