Position: Instructor of Community and Mental Health at SIIT

The SIIT is looking for a dedicated Instructor in the Addictions, Community, & Mental Health Professional program. Your responsibilities will include delivering structured lessons, employing relevant technologies, and evaluating student progress. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop lesson plans aligned with course objectives

• Integrate technology in instructional practices

• Maintain attendance and record course evaluations

• Assess student progress accurately and promptly

• Recommend solutions for classroom discipline issues
Requirements:

• Bachelor's in Education, Social Work, or related field

• Understanding of adult learning theories desirable

• Experience in teaching is an advantage

• Knowledge of Indigenous worldviews and methodologies is beneficial

• Strong commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
