Shape future scientists as a Sessional Lecturer in Chemistry at the Prince Albert Campus. Utilize your PhD and teaching skills in courses like General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry.
We are seeking Sessional Lecturers for the Department of Chemistry for the Regular Session. Candidates will teach General Chemistry I and Introduction to Organic Chemistry, with a maximal enrollment of 40 students per course. A PhD is required, though M.Sc. degrees may be considered for exceptional applicants. The position includes lectures on Tuesday afternoons and ample preparation time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures in General Chemistry I and Organic Chemistry
• Prepare course materials and assessments
• Grade student work accurately and fairly
• Lead classroom activities for engaged learning
• Offer support through office hours
Requirements:
• PhD in Chemistry; MSc may be accepted
• Proven teaching experience necessary
• Driver's license for off-campus roles
• Ability to adapt to altering class sizes
