Join the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as a Mental Health Instructor. This role focuses on impactful teaching strategies and creating an inclusive workplace for student growth. SIIT is recruiting for an Instructor in its Addictions, Community, & Mental Health Qualified program.
As an educational leader, you will prepare lesson plans, utilize modern technology, and engage students with both contemporary and Indigenous learning methods. Your passion for helping students learn will be pivotal in this role. Influence the lives of students at SIIT as you guide them through their educational paths.
Key Responsibilities Design effective lesson plans for each course
Leverage technology for creative instruction
Ensure completion of attendance and course evaluations
Assess and track student progress within set timelines
Uphold classroom discipline and recommend necessary measures
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Work, or a related field
Familiarity with adult learning principles (a plus)
Prior teaching experience preferred
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and teaching methods valuable
Dedication to fostering a diverse and inclusive classroom
