Library Technician - Westview School - PPT

Application Information

Permanent part-time Library Technician 2 position available at Westview Public School in Prince Albert starting August 28, 2026, or as mutually agreed upon. If the position is underfilled it will be a Library Clerk. Rates are as per CUPE Local 4195 Collective Agreement. 3.25 hours per day, 16.25 hours per week.

Pay:
Year 1 $ 27.03 per hour;
Year 2 $ 28.39 per hour;
Year 3 $ 29.81 per hour. Employment terms: part-time.

• Successful completion of Grade 12 coupled with a post‑secondary Library Technician diploma or certificate from a recognized institution approved by the Board of Education.
• Familiarity with Insignia Software (asset).
• Valid drivers licence.
• Working knowledge of operation and basic maintenance of automated library systems.
• Ability to code according to MARC standard.
