Permanent part-time Library Technician 2 position available at Princess Margaret Public School in Prince Albert starting August 28, 2026, or as mutually agreed upon.

3.25 hours per day/16.25 hours per week

PLEASE NOTE:

If an applicant does not meet the requirements listed below, we will consider under filling the position. If this is the case, there will be an expectation to complete certain library courses after the successful applicant begins the position. If the job is underfilled it will be filled with a Library Clerk. (Rates as per CUPE 4195 Collective Agreement)

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• - Successful completion of Grade 12 coupled with a post-secondary Library Technician diploma or certificate from a recognized institution as approved by the Board of Education.
• - Familiarity with the Insignia Software would be a definite asset.
• - Must possess and maintain a valid drivers licence.
• - Working knowledge in the operation and basic maintenance of automated library systems.
• - Ability to code according to MARC standard.
