The role of Writing Clinic Instructor at FNUniv focuses on guiding students through the writing process while identifying and addressing areas in need of improvement. You will support diverse learners, utilizing both one-on-one and group sessions, while tracking clinic activity using Lib Insight. This position is essential in fostering effective writing for university assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide students through various writing processes
• Identify specific areas for composition improvement
• Assist students online via Zoom and Teams
• Conduct in-person group and individual sessions
• Track daily Writing Clinic traffic accurately
Requirements:
• Experience teaching English at high school or post-secondary
• Familiarity with MLA and APA formats;
Chicago knowledge a plus
• Ability to teach diverse learners in cross-cultural settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of English composition, grammar, and punctuation
