The College of Arts and Science invites applications for this teaching role in the Department of Political Studies. You will provide insights into Women and Gender Studies and explore representations of Gender and Sexuality in Popular Culture. An M.A. is required, though a Ph.D. is preferred, along with previous teaching experience valued by the department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach GENS 112.3 and GENS 201.3 courses
• Create and structure engaging class materials
• Encourage effective discussions on course topics
• Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback
• Mark assignments and manage course grading
Requirements:
• Hold an M.A. degree in a relevant disciplinary area
• Ph.D. advantageous for course content
• Experience in university-level teaching preferred
• Valid driver's license for potential off-campus lectures
• Commitment to promoting diversity in academia
Contribute to fostering an inclusive learning environment for students exploring social justice themes at the University of Saskatchewan.
