Join the University of Saskatchewan as a Sessional Lecturer for History 193.3, focusing on the History of Turtle Island People. This hybrid position in Prince Albert is open for Winter .
The College of Arts & Science’s History Department invites applications for a part-time teaching role. This dynamic course aims to explore significant historical narratives within Canada, especially Indigenous perspectives. Candidates must have at least an ABD in History; a PhD is advantageous.
This role offers the flexibility of hybrid delivery, accommodating both in-person students in Prince Albert and remote learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct History 193.3 courses with a focus on Indigenous narratives
• Develop engaging course content for the Winter term
• Grade and provide feedback on student work
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with faculty on course improvements
Requirements:
• ABD in History, PhD preferred
• Driver’s license for travel as needed
• Commitment to fostering equity in education
• Experience in teaching and curriculum development
• Skills in lesson planning and student engagement
