This part-time, permanent position requires 3.25 hours daily, totaling 16.25 hours a week, starting August 28, 2026. Your key duties will encompass maintaining automated library systems, assisting with library resources, and aiding in bibliography coding.
Your role is crucial in ensuring effective library management and supporting educational programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage library systems effectively
• Assist users with library resources and inquiries
• Support collection management and development
• Provide citation assistance to library patrons
• Produce MARC coded bibliographic records
Requirements:
• Successful completion of Grade 12
• Library Technician diploma or certificate from an accredited institution
• Familiarity with Insignia Software
• Valid driver's licence necessary
• Understanding of automated library systems
