Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include instruction and delivery of Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Introduction to Indigenous Studies course for Students in the Heavy Equipment Truck and Transport Technician (HETTT) program. This course introduces students to the diverse Indigenous cultural groups within Saskatchewan. The assignment will cover Indigenous histories, worldviews, cultures, perspectives, approaches to learning, and the impacts of colonization and reconciliation. The Instructor will be responsible for planning and delivering course content, evaluating student performance and providing academic guidance and support.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Indigenous Studies including 2 years of recent/relevant experience or equivalent post-secondary teaching and/or facilitating experience, subject to approval by Saskatchewan Polytechnic. Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse equity groups.
Remuneration: $65.00 per hour
Location: Prince Albert, Saskatchewan
Term: September 2026 to November 2026
