Certified Water Treatment Plant Operator Position

Step into the role of Water Treatment Plant Operator within a Class III facility. You will be responsible for ensuring water quality and managing treatment operations effectively.

Your duties will include monitoring systems, calibrating treatment equipment, and performing laboratory tests to uphold safety and quality standards. Reporting to the Chief Operator, you'll work with a passionate team, effectively managing both mechanical and electrical systems integral to our water treatment process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on water quality management

• Operate and maintain treatment equipment daily

• Calibrate chemical feeding and mechanical systems

• Conduct essential laboratory testing for water safety

• Collaborate effectively with other operational staff

Requirements:

• Two-year technical program in water or environmental sciences

• Class II Water Treatment Operator Certification required

• Minimum of three years operational experience

• Related trade licenses may be considered

• Completion of relevant coursework is an advantage
