Position: Deputy Chief for Self-Governing Initiatives
Lead transformative governance efforts in the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan as Deputy Chief of Legislative Services. This role emphasizes self-determination and legislative modernization.

As a major contributor to the Senior Leadership Team, you will provide strategic insights to advance Métis self-government and support the Chief Operations Officer. Your leadership will guide the development of crucial policies and engagement processes that reflect Métis priorities. This role is vital for fostering sustainable governance practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advise on self-government priorities and modernization

• Develop and modernize Métis governance policies

• Oversee constitutional reform citizen engagement

• Support treaty negotiation and implementation planning

• Lead collaboration for enhanced government capacity

Requirements:

• Graduate degree in Governance, Law, or similar

• Over 10 years of senior leadership experience

• Expert knowledge of Métis governance and rights

• Proven experience in transformative initiatives

• Possess valid Saskatchewan driver's license
