The Lands Branch is seeking a highly motivated and independent individual to join the Land Management & Permitting Unit. This position provides an opportunity to work on diverse and complex land-use proposals involving mineral exploration, oil and gas, irrigation, linear disturbances and other uses of Crown resource land.
Working alongside a knowledgeable and collaborative team, you will provide regulatory oversight, work with industry and government partners, and help support responsible land-use decisions across Saskatchewan. No two files are quite the same, making this an excellent opportunity to build expertise, exercise professional judgment and work on meaningful projects that support the sustainable management of Crown resource lands.
Typically, the knowledge and skills required for this position would be obtained through relevant post-secondary education combined with experience in land management, environmental review, regulatory processes or resource development. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
