The Ministry of Corrections and Policing is hiring a fulltime nurse for Pine Grove Correctional Centre. The role supports a fair and safe justice system and requires a compassionate, respectful professional committed to teamwork in a correctional environment. Working with a multidisciplinary health team, you will provide direct nursing care to female patients, maintain accurate records, promote preventative health, assess medical and mental health needs, respond to emergencies, and make referrals as required.

The position requires strong communication, empathy, reliability, professionalism, and a commitment to dignity, diversity, and patient advocacy.

Candidates must be registered or eligible for registration with the Registered Psychiatric Nurses Association of Saskatchewan or the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan. Required knowledge includes medical and psychiatric theories, intervention strategies, withdrawal indicators, communicable diseases in correctional settings, public health risks, and multicultural perspectives. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends, 12hour or 8hour rotations, or Monday Friday schedules.
