This is a full-time on-site role located in Prince Albert, SK, for a Labour Relations Officer. The Labour Relations Officer will be responsible for assisting with and representing employees in grievance processes, collective bargaining, and labor-management negotiations. Key duties include providing expert consultation on labor relations matters, interpreting collective agreements, supporting workplace conflict resolution, and promoting harmonious relationships between employees and management.

The individual will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and timely records and reports.

• Expertise in labor relations processes, including grievance handling, collective bargaining, and workplace conflict resolution
• Strong skills in research, analysis, and interpretation of collective agreements and labor laws
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between employees and management
• Competency in drafting legally sound documents and maintaining detailed records
• Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently, while managing multiple priorities and deadlines
• Familiarity with unionized work environments and knowledge of labor laws and policies, particularly in the Saskatchewan region
• Qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, Law, or a related field
• Experience in a similar role and bilingualism in English and French are considered assets
