Maintenance Worker, Summer Seasonal

The Prince Albert Housing Authority is currently recruiting for two (2) Maintenance Workers to join their team for a seasonal position from June to September. If you are ambitious, results focused, and a self-starter we would love to hear from you!

• Assist with groundskeeping, including grass cutting, weeding, etc.
• Maintain and provide minor repairs to downspouts, gutters, fences, etc.
• Assist with garbage removal and janitorial duties
• Respond to requests for minor repairs and maintenance tasks

• Some experience in groundskeeping, and willingness to learn new skills including operation of landscaping tools, tractor/mower, etc.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

• Ability to participate in a regular, continuous on call program for emergencies, including evening, weekend, and holiday coverage
• A valid driver's license, reliable, roadworthy vehicle, and an approved Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) criminal record check are conditions of employment
