Facilities Maintenance Technician at YMCA

Support the YMCA of Greater Toronto as a Facilities Maintenance Technician, ensuring operational reliability and cleanliness across our sites. This part-time role includes equipment repairs and maintenance tasks.

You will maintain facility conditions by responding to work orders and performing regular maintenance on various systems, including pools, HVAC, and plumbing. Collaboration with third-party contractors will be key. Your efforts will help create a safe and pleasant environment for all users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair equipment across facilities

• Monitor pool operations and cleanliness

• Conduct general and project-specific cleaning efforts

• Follow all health and safety regulations

• Coordinate with contractors for major repairs

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent experience

• Minimum of 5 years in building maintenance or skilled trades

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is beneficial

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Flexible schedule to meet facility needs
