Join a dynamic, community‑focused health organization committed to delivering high‑quality primary health care. We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to oversee Laboratory Services and Facility Operations, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational efficiency.
Position OverviewAs a key member of the Leadership Team reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for managing and coordinating:
- Laboratory services
- Facility operations (maintenance, environmental services, transportation)
- IT support and central sterilization processing
- Other management assignments as required
The Director ensures optimal service levels, adequate staffing, and effective financial and operational management across these areas.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and administration for assigned portfolios, including recruitment, performance management, scheduling, and staff development.
- Oversee compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and monitor program goals, objectives, and performance indicators.
- Ensure efficient and effective delivery of services and resource management.
- Maintain strong computer skills and proficiency with relevant software.
- (Asset) Oversee laboratory operations, including QA/QC programs and compliance with The Medical Laboratory Licensing Act and Regulations.
- Degree or diploma in a health‑related field OR a combination of post‑secondary education and extensive health care administration experience.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a health care setting.
- Knowledge of primary health care delivery and community health centre operations (asset).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
