Seasonal Fuel Fertilizer Driver - Lake Country Co-op @ Prince Albert Agro
Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time seasonal Fuel/Fertilizer
- Professional Driver (2 Positions) from April 27-August 28, 2026
, at our Agro location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
Reporting to the Agro Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
- Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
- Safely operate bulk fertilizer trucks, tankers, and other agricultural delivery and application equipment.
- Deliver dry and liquid fertilizers, feed, seed, and other miscellaneous products to customers fields and storage sites in a timely manner.
- Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections; report and or address any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, scale tickets, and related paperwork.
- Assist in facility operations, including loading, unloading, and general maintenance as needed.
- Support yard, warehouse, fertilizer plant during peak seasons and as needed.
- Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Who You Are:
- You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:
- You possess a minimum of 1-2 years of commercial driving experience, agriculture hauling experience preferred.
- You understand fertilizer types and safe handling procedures.
- You have a basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with agricultural equipment.
- You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
- You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
- You are able to fulfill the physical job requirements; you can lift 50lbs as needed and perform physical labour in various weather conditions.
- You will have exposure to agricultural chemicals, fertilizers, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions.
- You are willing and able to achieve WHMIS and TDG certifications.
- You possess a strong work ethic, understand the concept of “full service,” and are willing to work additional hours during seasonal peaks.
- You carry a valid Class 1A driver’s license – wide load and oversized load experience is an asset.
