This is a high-output, execution-first creative role focused on performance advertising for direct-to-consumer ecommerce brands.
You will generate ideas, prepare brief, and organize large volumes of ad concepts, hooks, scripts, and insights that feed into a senior Creative Director & in-house design team. Your territory covers all core paid channels like Meta, Tiktok, App Lovin, Youtube/Google, X, Reddit etc.

If you enjoy analyzing why ads work, researching ads, writing short-form scripts, spotting patterns in high-performing creatives, and honing in your skills with a sharp team, this role fits.
If you want to “think big” without shipping or testing your ideas, it won’t.
What You Will DoCreative Output (Primary)
- Produce a high weekly volume of direct response ad concepts (hooks, angles, scripts).
- Write UGC-style scripts and ad copy for short-form video ads (Meta, Tik Tok, Snap).
- Generate variations intentionally across angles (benefits, objections, proof, desire).
- Adapt to different brand tones and product categories.
Creative Research & Pattern Mining
- Study top-performing competitor ads daily.
- Identify repeatable creative patterns (hooks, pacing, framing).
- Maintain swipe files and structured references.
Performance Insights & Reporting
- Review creative performance data and summarize learnings clearly.
- Identify which hooks, angles, and formats are working - and why.
- Submit work for review to the Creative Director.
- Iterate quickly based on direct feedback.
- Improve quality and speed over time.

Ideal Background
This role is open to junior or early-career candidates
, including:
- 0-3 years experience in performance ads, ecommerce marketing, or content creation
- Strong interest in ads, especially short-form video and paid social
- Comfortable writing concise, punchy copy
- Analytical enough to explain why something worked
- Organized and reliable under weekly deadlines
Experience at an agency or high-growth brand is a plus, but not a requirement.

Working Model
- Reports to:
Creative Director - Fully remote
- Full-time contract
- Requires overlap with US EST business hours
Compensation
- CAD $55,000 - $65,000
, depending on experience/education - Clear promotion path to Senior Creative Strategist
- Performance-based increases tied to output and growth
