Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

The Nurse Practitioner will serve the community of Prince Albert, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention, and effective communication with both patients and health professionals. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to autonomously diagnose, prescribe medications, and perform specific procedures within your scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide primary health care and health promotion services

• Autonomously diagnose and interpret diagnostic tests

• Collaborate and refer with other healthcare professionals

• Participate in community needs assessments and evaluative projects

• Conduct health assessments and implement holistic care

Requirements:

• Three years as a Registered Nurse required

• One year in a primary health setting preferred

• Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner qualification

• BCLS certification and valid Class 5 driver's license

• Membership with College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan
