Registered Nurse in Emergency Care

Provide exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency unit of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. Bring your understanding of acute nursing to a collaborative healthcare team.

As a vital member of the nursing department, you will report to the Nursing Unit Manager and participate in comprehensive patient assessments. This role requires at least three years of acute care experience and a knack for sound clinical judgment. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to create effective care plans and address a variety of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute detailed assessments and care planning

• Communicate effectively with patients and families

• Collaborate with nursing teams for optimal care

• Provide support during trauma and emergency situations

• Adhere to standards set by the health region

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

• Current CRNS registration and BCLS certification

• 3 years of acute care experience

• 1 year recent experience in Emergency

• SANE training and adult sexual assault nursing training required
