Make a difference as a Community Mental Health Nurse, providing essential case management for those with psychiatric disabilities.
Your role will be key in service delivery and patient recovery.
This position requires a Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing and five years of experience in mental health care. You will work within a rehabilitation program while ensuring compliance with SHA policies and ethical standards of nursing. You play a vital role in restoring and promoting mental health in individuals facing psychiatric challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage cases effectively for psychiatric patients
• Collaborate with a dedicated rehabilitation service team
• Ensure adherence to SHA and nursing guidelines
• Uphold professional ethics in mental health care
• Support patient recovery in a community setting
Requirements:
• Five years of mental health experience essential
• Bachelor of Psychiatric Nursing (BPN) needed
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Registered or eligible with CRNS and CRPNS
• Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate (BCLS) needed
