• Knowledge of medical and psychiatric theories and interventions
• Experience with drug and alcohol withdrawal
• Familiarity with communicable diseases and public health issues
• Understanding of safety risk management and cultural competency, including Indigenous cultures
• Strong communication, critical thinking, interpersonal, digital, data literacy, self‑management, and organizational awareness skills

• Providing direct patient care
• Conducting physical and mental health assessments
