Job Description:
The Registered Nurse A is responsible to The Nursing Unit Manager or Director of Nursing. The Registered Nurse A is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient care in accordance with the vision, mission and philosophy of the Prince Albert Parkland Health Region. As a member of The Nursing Department, The Registered Nurse A has the responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client centered care.
Human Resources Exemption: No
Experience
3 years acute care nursing including 1 year recent Emergency nursing required
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
Other Education and Training
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or other trauma assessment course desired
Required to complete an Adult Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners training
Required to be SANE certified and maintain that certification
