FOREST NURSERY WORKER, THIN

We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team. PRT Prince Albert is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling thinning. If you want a physical, fast‑paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be thinning tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No specific work experience is needed – we’ll provide full training.

• Thinning tree seedlings in greenhouses.
• Learning about forest nursery activities.
• Working independently and efficiently.
• Committing to quality and safety in a safe work environment.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you:

• Reliable transportation to get to the PRT Prince Albert site daily.
• Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8‑hour work shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly through the entire shift.
• Appropriate work attire.
• Good manual dexterity and eyesight.
• A team‑oriented personality with a positive attitude.
• A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.

Aiming for week of February 23, 2026.

Salary: $15.97/HOUR with transition to piecework for greater earning potential.
