We are currently seeking to fill an existing vacancy on our team. PRT Prince Albert is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to help with our upcoming tree seedling thinning. If you want a physical, fast-paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact, this is for you! You'll be thinning tree seedlings for reforestation across North America. No specific work experience is needed – we'll provide full training.
YourRole & What You'll Do
You’ll work as part of a supportive team under the guidance of a Nursery Manager. Your main duties will involve:
- Thinning tree seedlings in greenhouses.
- Learning about forest nursery activities.
- Working independently and efficiently.
- Committing to quality and safety in a safe work environment.
What YOU Bring To The Table:
- Reliable transportation to get to the PRT Prince Albert site daily.
- Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8‑hour work shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly through the entire shift.
- Appropriate work attire.
- Good manual dexterity and eyesight.
- A team-oriented personality with a positive attitude.
- A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.
Aiming for week of February 23, 2026.
CompensationSalary information: $15.97 per hour and transitioning to piecework with greater earning potential.
