Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time File Maintenance – Professional Services based out of our Home and Building Centre location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. What You Will Do
  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Evolve daily operations of the file maintenance function, finding ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Complete inventory control functions including ordering and receiving, price changes, and daily reconciliation reports.
  • Input pricing for upcoming sales, perform price verification process.
  • Maintain perpetual inventory report and complete regular stock checks.
  • Maintain all signage on the floor.
  • Complete large amounts of data entry, with seated work, and significant use of computerized workstation.
  • Perform sales floor duties; stocking, rotation, and display of merchandise, operating of point-of-sale system, and assist guests with item selection, as required.
  • Support the development and performance of file maintenance clerk(s).
  • Adhere to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements and lead this program by example.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Will Work With

Reporting to the Prince Albert Home and Building Centre Team Leader, you will collaborate with a team of professionals including the sales, estimating, construction, installation and building materials leaders on this fun and passionate team to cultivate a culture of collaboration and customer focus.

Who You Are
  • You have your high school diploma or equivalent experience; customer service and previous file maintenance experience would be considered assets.
  • You are experienced in leading a file maintenance function and team with a customer focused approach.
  • You possess a large knowledge in the use of point-of-sale systems including back-office procedures.
  • You are well organized and can work independently, or as part of a team in a demanding environment with minimal supervision.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Outlook, Excel) and Adobe and are able to adapt to new technology and systems; experience with Mi9 is an asset.
  • You can manage computer files and records efficiently.
  • You work well under pressure and are savvy with balancing and meeting multiple strict deadlines.
  • You possess strong oral and written communication skills and communicate effectively using multiple communication channels.
  • You are goals driven, attentive to detail, and hold precision and accuracy as core values.
  • You are available to work a flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends are required.
