Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Convenience Store/Gas Bar in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. This position will supervise Team Members, maintain inventory and champion Asset Protection and Safety Management at the La Ronge Convenience Store and Gas Bar encompassing sales of approximately $9.4 million.

What You Will Do:

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.

• Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.

• Assist with building and leading a high-performance team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.

• Lead the Convenience Store team in providing quality service and convenience.

• Ensure the department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.

• Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.

• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.

• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co-op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco and lottery.

• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.

• Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.

• Perform minor repairs to assets as required.

• Perform all other duties as required.
