Support youth at YWCA Prince Albert as a 24-Hour Client Support Worker. Engage with individuals facing challenges while promoting independence in a secure environment.
The YWCA Prince Albert is actively hiring for this part-time, permanent position. This role requires working closely with clients at the Central Avenue Shelter, providing essential support and guidance as they transition into adulthood. Key responsibilities include maintaining a clean facility and responding to crises effectively, ensuring a safe atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Advocate for residents' transition into adulthood
• Maintain security through routine checks
• Perform essential cleaning and upkeep duties
• Engage in staff meetings, training, and development
• Address crises promptly and notify management when required
Requirements:
• Possess a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver's License
• Experience in mental health or substance use support
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Applications
• Pass Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
• Ability to lift weight and work flexible hours
