Youth Care Worker, Multiple Programs - Prince Albe

Pay: $25.06 per hour

Employment: Full/Part-Time, Indefinite

• Provide compassionate support to individuals with complex needs, fostering a safe and nurturing environment where they feel valued and supported.
• Help develop and implement engaging activity plans that encourage participation.
• Teach essential life skills such as self‑care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and building positive social connections.
• Resolve conflicts with empathy and use behavior management strategies such as conflict resolution, crisis management, and life space interviewing to guide participants through challenges.
• Collaborate with clinical professionals and program managers to share insights that will help guide treatment plans and goal setting.
• Prioritize, promote and reinforce safe work practices, creating a secure environment for both participants and staff.
• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas and experiences to help improve care provided.
• Complete documentation and reports accurately, ensuring all agency standards are met.
• Lead by example, representing agency values and demonstrating fairness, respect, and positivity.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support participants and the team.

Education: Grade 12

Experience: 1–2 years of relevant experience
