Housing Support Workers provide flexible, compassionate, person-centred housing support to clients as members of the Homeward Bound Oakdale team.
Qualifications- Experience in human services, supported housing, or supporting individuals with disabilities and/or addictions.
- Knowledge of Indigenous culture.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation (required).
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of person-centred, trauma-informed, and strength-based practices.
- Successful Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks.

- Maintain client documentation, case notes, reports, and shift communication.
- Provide transportation, outreach, case management, advocacy, and individualized client supports.
- Assist clients with housing stability, independent living skills, budgeting, hygiene, appointments, home visits, and community integration.
- Complete home inspections, develop case plans, and support person-centred planning.
- Assist with meal preparation, recreation, grocery shopping, client finances, and program transitions.
- Respond to emergencies, complete incident reports, and maintain a safe, clean environment.
- Participate in mandatory training, team activities, and other duties as assigned.
- Complete Payworks and documentation at the end of each shift.
Probation:
All YWCA Prince Albert positions include a three-month probationary period.
