Part-Time Youth Support Worker Position

Empower youth to reach their potential as a part-time Youth Support Worker with YWCA. This role includes mentorship, life skills development, and tailored support for at-risk individuals.

The part-time position guarantees 20 hours weekly, focusing on supporting youth to become self-sufficient adults. You will provide guidance, advocacy, and crisis support while promoting essential life skills. Your proactive approach will help clients achieve positive outcomes in a safe and secure environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist youth in developing life skills and independence

• Provide mentorship, advocacy, and crisis intervention

• Support job search efforts, including resume and interview prep

• Prepare meals and maintain household routines

• Organize educational and recreational activities

Requirements:

• Background in human services or relevant education

• Experience with diverse and Indigenous populations

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License

• Successful Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Checks
