Employment Support Program for Youth Coordinator (ESP4Y Coordinator)
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time Salaried (37.5 hours/week)
Reports To:
Community Connection Centre Manager
- Deliver an employment and career preparation program for youth aged 1629 facing barriers to employment.
- Support participants to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to secure employment or pursue further education.
- Paid vacation and sick time, Health/Dental/Life/LTD benefits, 5% employer pension match, professional development.
- Relevant experience and/or post-secondary education.
- 2+ years' case management experience, preferably in employment services.
- Life skills facilitation experience is an asset.
- Experience working with diverse and Indigenous populations.
- Strong communication, organization, and Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Successful Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Coordinate up to three ESP4Y cohorts (16 participants each).
- Recruit, screen, onboard, and support participants.
- Deliver employment readiness, life skills, career development, and workshops.
- Facilitate group sessions and participant engagement.
- Arrange job shadowing and community referrals.
- Provide case management, assessments, employment plans, and progress monitoring.
- Support ETI applications.
- Maintain accurate program records and reporting.
- Complete administrative duties and balance client and reporting requirements.
- Foster a safe, respectful, client-centred environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
