Full-Time Caseworker at John Howard Society

Become a Caseworker with the John Howard Society of Saskatchewan, providing life skills development and support for individuals involved in the justice system. This permanent, full-time position focuses on crisis intervention and case management for clients.

As a Caseworker, you'll work closely under the Program Manager to assist hard-to-serve adults who are incarcerated or on probation. Your responsibilities will center around creating effective programs, crisis intervention, and case management. You will also provide institutional support while maintaining essential documentation to program standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with life skills development and behavioral support

• Provide crisis intervention for those involved in the justice system

• Complete case management tasks and documentation

• Collaborate with Correctional Staff in facilities

• Connect clients with risk-reductive services

Requirements:

• Relevant Bachelor's degree or 1 year practical experience

• Knowledge of socio-economic issues impacting clients

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Valid insurable Saskatchewan Driver’s License

• Cleared Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
