Join our team as a Caseworker!
The Caseworker maintains a caseload and provide clinical leadership and resources to the assigned unit. The Caseworker provides clinical assessments, counselling, treatment plans, advocacy, team training, case management, group work, and family work. The Caseworker also provides clinical consultation to group living and educational/vocational teams. The Case Worker works with multiple teams and is a key communication link between stakeholders through written reports, consults, and daily communication.

Qualifications
Education & Certification
Masters degree in psychology, educational psychology, social work, or in a related human service field is preferred, however a Bachelors degree may be considered.

Experience
Minimum 2 years clinical experience working with preadolescents and their families is required.
Previous clinical experience in early child development or early intervention would be considered an asset.

Skills and Characteristics
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, mentor, and support others.
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Subject matter expert in clinical and ethical issues relating to the care and support of vulnerable persons with complex needs, behavioral issues, developmental disabilities, mental health disorders, and/or other related issues.
Strong assessment, counselling, and service planning skills.
Ability to set clear, attainable goals and meet individual and program objectives.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to form strong relationships and professional working alliances.
Ability to display empathy, patience, understanding, and a client‑centred approach in day‑to‑day interactions.
Ability to be flexible
