Casual Youth Care Worker Position

PBCFSI is hiring three Casual Youth Care Workers for their Specialized Peer Home 2. In this crucial role, you will provide child care, family support, and educational services related to child development and life skills. You will also facilitate family visitation and offer ongoing counseling as needed to both children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver child care services to children in care

• Facilitate transportation for family visitation

• Provide educational sessions on parenting and life skills

• Develop prevention and educational programs

• Offer ongoing counseling and support for families

Requirements:

• Social Work Certificate or equivalent experience

• Experience in Child & Family Services or similar field

• Commitment to child protection and community support

• Valid driver's license and vehicle access

• Willing to work evenings and weekends when necessary
