The Opportunity:
We are looking for individuals to join our team in the Prince Albert office to fill term positions as a Child Protection Assistant Supervisor. In this role, you will supervise, manage, and implement programs designed to provide protective, preventative, and support services to children, parents, and foster families utilizing the Family Centered Case Management Model and P.R.I.D.E. Model of Practice.
Assistant Supervisors in CFP:- Coach, mentor, and train staff as the expert and role model on your team.
- Demonstrate leadership exemplified by respect and empowerment, in order to encourage employees to achieve success.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to staff in the absence of the supervisor, concerning placements of children and supporting caregivers with children in care.
- Assist with service delivery between Child and Family division programs, work units, and partner agencies.
- Be knowledgeable about Ministry policies and procedures, as outlined in the Child and Family Services Act, Family/Children's Services, and PRIDE Manuals.
- Act as a liaison with First Nations CFS and community agencies, with service delivery and decisions.
- You may represent your unit, Ministry, or region on community or internal committees
