Overview

Greenland Waste Disposal, the largest waste services company in the Prince Albert and Melfort region, is currently seeking applications for 1A Drivers. This role would be based out of Melfort. Some overtime will be required, including the possibility of some weekends and statutory holidays.

Starting salary: $23-$28.50 depending on experience

Job duties
  • Driving long distances
  • Refuel and clean vehicle
  • Follow traffic laws
  • Inspect trucks and record issues
  • Adherence to company safety policies and procedures
  • Record and maintain activities log and log hours
  • Report mechanical problems to mechanics
  • Plan routes using GPS system
  • Complete routes in a timely manor
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers
  • Keep commercial drivers license up to date
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Pre Employment Drug Test
  • 1A license with acceptable drivers abstract required
  • Strong knowledge of Melfort and surrounding rural areas an asset
