Job Summary
Family Pizza is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-oriented Part-Time Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of our products directly to our customers. As the final point of contact with our clientele, you will represent the Family Pizza brand by providing exceptional customer service with a positive, professional attitude.

Key Responsibilities
Safe & Efficient Delivery:
Transport food orders safely and promptly from the restaurant to residential and commercial locations using your own reliable vehicle.

Order Verification:
Double-check orders prior to leaving the store to ensure accuracy, completeness, and that all accompanying items (e.g., beverages, sides, sauces) are included.

Customer Service Excellence:
Greet customers warmly at the door, handle transactions professionally, and address any customer inquiries or concerns with courtesy and respect.

Payment Processing:
Accurately handle cash transactions and operate mobile point-of-sale (POS) terminal machines for debit/credit payments.

In-Store Support:
When not actively out on a delivery, assist in-store team members with light operational duties, including answering phones, taking phone orders, folding pizza boxes, and maintaining front-of-house cleanliness.

Compliance & Safety:
Adhere strictly to all local traffic laws, speed limits, and parking regulations, ensuring a safety-first approach to driving in all weather conditions.

Skills and Qualifications
Licensing & Record:
Must possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean, safe driving record.

Vehicle Requirements:
Access to a reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle, along with valid vehicle registration and proper insurance coverage.

Navigation

Skills:

Strong geographical knowledge of the Prince Albert area, with the ability to efficiently utilize GPS navigation apps to plan the best delivery routes.

Punctuality & Time Management:
Exceptional time-management skills to ensure deliveries are completed within designated time frames, especially during peak rush hours.

Communication & Interpersonal

Skills:

Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting clearly with both customers and in-store team members.

Physical Stamina:
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and comfortably transition frequently between driving and walking in various weather conditions.
