Busing Service

Position: Busing Service Employee Role
Enable safe transportation as a Service Employee with First Student. Manage bus fueling, maintenance, and reporting to ensure efficiency and safety in operations.

This role is key to maintaining school and commercial buses while coordinating with the Maintenance Department. Your duties will include handling accurate reporting and performing minor maintenance tasks on buses. You will also oversee the checking and refilling of essential fluids during servicing to ensure reliable transit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open gates and oversee bus parking for timely departures

• Maintain comprehensive fuel and maintenance records

• Report fuel delivery needs and take accurate readings

• Fill fluids on buses during fueling as needed

• Conduct light maintenance tasks as required by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Understanding of bus maintenance protocols

• Eagerness to develop maintenance skills

• Subject to DOT drug testing

• Compliance with DOT safety regulations
